While in closed guard, you enter the Pendulum Sweep from an arm drag, from a collar grip grip break with cross sleeve grip, and from same-side collar grip. If the opponent lifts up his knee to prevent the sweep, you can push on the knee to finish the sweep as a scissors sweep.
