When the opponent attempts a Triangle Choke, the first line of defense is to posture where you can trap his choking leg over your shoulder and pass. If he locks his legs into a Figure 4 configuration, you can stretch his body to loosen his legs and then pass. If he grabs his shin to prevent you from stretching his body, you can stack him and then pass.
