You can pass the opponent's Butterfly Guard when he is supine by clearing the hook and then immediately transitioning to the X pass or Knee Cut. If he is seated in open guard, you can clear the hook and grip the foot and his back to pass. If he arm drags you, you can secure double cross grips on his feet and do a toreando-style pass.
